I made Thor Runner together with two five-year-old children who took part throughout the process. They helped invent mechanics, selected and drew characters, proposed ideas for the music and reacted to each playable version. The original sketches in the gallery are therefore part of the design history of the game, not simply concept art produced after it was finished.

My main role was to keep their requests within what the game and my ChatGPT plan could reasonably support, protecting enough of the token budget to reach a complete build instead of spending it all on the first wave of ideas. That constraint became a useful creative rule: we negotiated priorities, simplified ambitious suggestions and kept a visible path from drawing to playable feature.

I enjoy making these technological and creative projects with children because there is no pressure about how the result should turn out. The point is to explore and make something together while showing them, through their own decisions, what AI can and cannot contribute to a creative process.
